What is a smart switch module?
A smart switch module is a compact device installed behind your existing switchboard that lets the same lights and fans be controlled by the physical switch and a mobile app. Soul's modules come in 1, 2, and 4 node variants.
Do Soul smart switches work with existing switchboards?
Yes. They are designed as retrofit devices for standard Indian switchboards — your current plates and switches remain, now synced with the Soul app.
What does 1-node, 2-node, and 4-node mean?
A node is one independently controlled load. A 4-node module can control four separate lights/fans/appliances from a single switchboard; 1-node and 2-node suit smaller boards.
Do the switches work without internet?
Yes. Besides the cloud, the modules respond over your local Wi-Fi network and BLE, so control continues during internet outages.
Who makes the app and software for Soul smart switches?
